DESCRIPTION
The Chianti Classico DOCG Banfi is a renamed wine. It represents the wine tradition of Italy. The Banfi winery produces this fantastic wine with Sangiovese grapes. The fermentation and the following maceration is made traditionally and the must rests on the lees for 7 days. When the malolactic and alcoholic fermentations are made there is a maturation in steel for 5-6 months.
Characteristics of the chianti DOCG Castello Banfi It has a ruby red color with bright purple reflections. The smell is intense, and it reminds the iris and the violet. The taste is elegant, fresh and velvety.
Intense with notes of cherries, plums, and violets. Rich flavors of cherry and leather. Supple tannins and good acidity.
