DESCRIPTION
The MAPU Reserva of Baron Philippe de Rothschild Maipo Chile from the Valle Central shows a bright purple color in the glass. The nose of this Baron Philippe de Rothschild Maipo Chile red wine presents all sorts of blackberries, blueberries, plums, mulberries and black cherries. As if that wasn't already impressive, the ageing in small wooden barrels adds further aromas such as vanilla, dark chocolate and cinnamon.
The Baron Philippe de Rothschild Maipo Chile MAPU Reserva presents itself to the wine connoisseur wonderfully dry. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, as one can expect from a wine in the upper price range. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture.
Due to its concise fruit acid, the MAPU Reserva Carmenere reveals itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this young wine from the wine-growing region Valle Central finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of morello cherry and blackberry

TASTING NOTES
AROMA AND PALATE:
Mapu Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon opens on fresh and complex red fruit and spice notes with a touch of oak. Elegant tannins then emerge on the palate, revealing all the power and elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Color: Intense and brilliant ruby red.
Aromas and Taste: Very fresh and fruity, with aromas of red berries (raspberry, cherry, blueberry, and plum) mixed with notes of black pepper and coffee. The very balanced attack is followed by a mid-palate with marked but soft tannins, then we find the aromas of small red fruits on the nose, as well as delicate spicy notes. The finish is very long, with good acidity .
