A recommended way to drink the Macallan 12 year old by The Macallan itself is called the ‘12 years old ice ball’, which is inspired by Japanese cocktail culture. Bartenders will hand-carve ice balls to create sculpted spheres that melt in your mouth. As the ice balls melts, it chills your Macallan single malt and slowly releases less water.
